It was a very lovely Sunday. The inviting rain on a weekend gives my husband and I a reason to leave the children with their grandparents and walk our fats away. An hour and a half must have burned enough calories, we headed home. Opening the door and seeing us, our two beautiful sunshine smiled so bright, like golden sun rays. I knew we were dripping wet but I wasn’t cold, warmth came from Alek’s grin. They were sitting on the table in the living room when he saw me through the glass door coming in from the entryway, he jumped down to greet me forgetting he got there by climbing up his chair beside it. He fell face down making his sister cracked up and so did everyone. Oblivious of the good belly laugh he caused, the pain didn’t bother him but he got up right away, pushed his way out to the slightly opened door and ran swiftly to me. I scooped him up and cuddled tight while he made the sound I clearly understand, a babble of love!
